Jarvis Racing: 3rd place finish for Jarvis at the Minus-400 Desert Extreme Race
Graham Jarvis finds success in 2022 FIM Hard Enduro Championship in Israel
Last Thursday (7/4/2022) saw Graham Jarvis represent Jarvis Racing team to compete in Rd1 of the FIM Hard World Championship. For the first time Israel hosted the Minus-400 Desert Extreme event.
2022 also marks the first year in which Graham will compete for his own racing team rather than the fully factory Husqvarna team. However, Graham and the team will still get Husqvarna’s support on 2022 TE300i’s throughout the championship.
From the scorching heat of the deserts of Israel, Graham rolled back the years and shook of his knee injury in style, finishing in a strong 3rd place, an amazing effort by Graham given that he spent majority of 2021 recovering from a torn ACL.
The GOAT is back and is ready to reap the rewards of returning back to racing and taking back the World Championship title. The Desert Extreme event saw Spaniard Mario Roman finish in 1st place and Billy Bolt placing 2nd.
The rest of the team are gearing up to start the World Championship when the racing returns to Serbia in Rd2 in May.
"Wow what a race! I’m very happy to have got on the podium and can’t wait to continue competing for the World Championship in Serbia. Massive congratulations to Mario on his finish too!"
"A positive start to the world championships for Graham and the team. It’s a shame the rest of the team couldn’t be there to support Graham but we’re excited and counting down the days until Serbia!"
After the extreme heat and dry terrain of Israel’s Dead Sea, the Hard Enduro World Championship now heads deep into the Serbian Mountains for round two with the Xross Hard Enduro Rally on May 18th-21st.
